GOD AND HIS WORD ON PASSION

SESSION 2 :

We need to understand that it is GOD’S kingdom which we are living in.And without knowing the list and the route(root) , we might all be lost in the shopping complex without knowing what we want. Life is also similar. Hence,it is vital that you know what are the rules of GOD's kingdom. Its whacky and its interesting . What I admire the most when I look at rules of the kingdom is the simplicity.

There are the 10 RULES OF HIS KINGDOM.
Let me try covering the 1st rule in the kingdom .

PASSION :
Can you passionate about LIFE , Can you be passionate about music, Can you passionate about the work which you do , Can you passionate about nature around you, Can you just be passionate when you wake up in the morning , every single day ?
Can you be passionate about the little extra flab which you have on yoru body , can you be passionate about chilren's non stop questions ; can you be passionate about your lover's nagging questions; can you be passionate about your new jeans or your age old shorts or the hole in yoru sock :-) ?

YES , YOU CAN!!!
It requires a simple yet dedicated step from your end to be pasionate about GOD.
God loves you too much. And hence , he likes it all the more , when you miss him or when you think of him.

1st STEP : Just START your day remembering God. Even a "HI GOD" from yoru end is OKAY !!!! Just seek him to give you strength and courage and to stand by his principles and walk on his principles and to enjoy life for the rest of the day.


Can you be passionate about work , about customer service, giving your best shot at the work you do , not being complacent and limiting your contribution ? Do you know , it really does'nt matter whether your manager appreciates your work or not becuase at the end of the day, you are working in HIS kingdom.Its GOD who decides your promotion .It is okay to leave a few tasks pending at your table and leave the office on time to spend time with your loved ones. And that is the first truth , says the GOD.


Real Life Examples :
A STORY OF A MOTHER STRUGGLING TO GAIN THE LOVE OF HER SON :

I always had problems with my son , playing PS 2 , and not spending enough time on his studies. And i used to force him to do his studies. We hardly spoke with each other. Every evening , when I came back from the office tired, all i wanted from him was the hug and his overwhelming display of jumping exicted on me screaming "MUMMY IS BACK !!!" . It never did happen though.
Day after Day , despite getting the most expensive toys , the best of the brands, I found myself caught miserably in the trap of my son’s greed. I did notice that something was missing between us. We could not connect through LOVE at all .

It took me sometime to understand that I had to invest in my son first before expecting the acceptance from his end. I had a tough time. It took me some discipline. And a few evenings. I decided to start from the office ontime. I decided that I would not entertain too many of my mobile calls. I decided to invest in my friends, my collegueas, parents, son , spouse, GOD , stratergically. MY LIVING ROOM BECAME THE CENTER OF THE HOUSE. My son used to play his PS2, in the living room , while I worked on my laptop...I avoided to barge into his privacy. Slowly, I took some interest in knowing more about the game , and wanting to learn more about his games like "need for speed", "BLACK", "call of duty", "mortal combact" ,"prince of persia" .My husband and my son were sitting there together and I gave them an opputunity to laugh at me by trying to fiddle around with the joy stick. And boy ! you bet I learnt and it was FUN !

GOD says,1 TV in the house with your gadgets at the center of the house is cruicial. The family gets together and bonds together in THE LIVING ROOM !Its wise to take a break from too much of technology coz ts important that you connect with your loved ones investing and sowing through your heart !!!



It was important for me to ensure that we as parents wouldnt fall into the trap of materialisitic knowledge of satisfying the children’s hunger. It was a learning for me too. We decided to spurlge on plaster of paris , for A meager amount ,and created a mask ...and the process of colouring it together.....we always now indulge in art and creativity , I do shed my inhibitions and dance with him , its great to shout, cheer, smile and sing with a invisible mike in front of an invisible crowd and winning the invisible crown too ,:-) ...things will be so light if we all dont concentrate too much about perfection ....I started encouraging him slowly for his efforts of scoring the 25% marks in his subject .....and I bloated upon his achivements more , like his performance in math, his dance program, his drawings, his effort to help me fill water in the bottle ...and he started realising , that he was just right as a kid . And nothing seems to be wrong in him . There was a boost in his self confidence......and he understood that "His mom loved him the way he was" . Now, I see him to be changed, .....arguments at home have come down, i get my daily knee massage which my husband wisefully passed the job onto my son ...my son now earns pocket mney , by bringing groceries, or milk , or cleaning the aquarium at home , ,, and he wisely has been taught about how to spend his money too.
And it really doesnt matter "HOW" much you pay him . The concept that needs to understood is , how do you train kids to handle money ?

He has 3 jars . “SAVE, SPEND, SHARE”...and i make it clear that 1/10th of his money should be shared , as it belongs to GOD.

Things changed , when we start applying the principle of passion and love in our life ....

How many times, were you irritated with people at workplace being demanding and you would have cursed them ....and if we just change our attitude within , doing our work not fretting about the work , and trying to understand the manager’s demands.......and walking in his faithh , even the toughest crisis at work will be paved to make way for you ......the plain simple truth is because “ its God who promotes us” , Give your best attitude in all the walks of your life ....If you dont like a few friends, you are not required to hang around with them , it is okay to eat pizza , it is okay to go to mac donalds and eat chicken, it is okay to dance, it is okay to stay happy and cheerful even in the time of recession ....it is okay to fall in love with Earth – your heaven ....!!!!

So go out to the world today . Can you look yourself into the mirror and be passionate about life ...? Can you just go out into the woods and be forgiving , kind, humble and yet stand by truth , rock solid principles, profound integrity and just jump and make merry .....?
